Anjay Anil - Co Founder

Equestrian. Actor. Athlete. Trekker. Conservationist. Visionary.

At just 21 years old, Anjay Anil represents a rare intersection of youthful courage, disciplined athleticism, artistic sensitivity, and deep ecological wisdom. A competitive equestrian, actor, lifelong trekker, and animal lover, Anjay’s life has been shaped not in classrooms alone, but in the vast, untamed landscapes that have nurtured him since childhood. The mountains, forests, rivers, and open trails have never been hobbies for him—they have been teachers, mirrors, and the very blueprint of his identity.

We Only Have One Home

His Story

Anjay grew up believing that one does not simply visit nature; one belongs to it. From riding horses across open countryside to camping in untouched wilderness, from navigating rugged Himalayan trails to observing wildlife in silence for hours—nature taught him discipline long before sports or films did. This early bond with the wild would become the defining compass of his life and ultimately lead him to co-found Blupedia, a global eco-social platform that blends community, creativity, conservation, and technology.

An Equestrian Shaped by Discipline and Freedom

As a competitive equestrian, Anjay learned early the sacred relationship between a human and an animal—one rooted in mutual respect, trust, and communication without words. Riding sharpened his instincts, strengthened his discipline, and deepened his compassion.

Horses became his first mentors, teaching him:

  • Patience

  • Balance

  • Courage under pressure

  • Leadership without aggression

These very qualities now define his role at Blupedia, where he envisions a world where humans rediscover harmony with the natural world and treat it with the same respect he learned through his sport.

An Artist With a Mission

An Artist With a Mission

While nature shaped his spirit, cinema shaped his voice. As a young actor, Anjay explored storytelling with emotional depth and integrity. He worked on projects like:

  • Odiyangam — where he engaged with performance rooted in realism.

  • Maddy — exploring narrative nuances and character-driven filmmaking.

These experiences positioned him not just as an actor, but as a thinker who understands the power of media in influencing human behavior.

At 21, he achieved a rare milestone—serving as Executive Producer of the Australian–Indo crossover film How To Talk Australian, directed by acclaimed filmmaker Tony Rogers.
This global collaboration introduced him to international cinema, multicultural storytelling, and film as a tool for social change.

Yet, Anjay believes cinema is not merely entertainment; it is a tool capable of sparking ecological consciousness, empathy, and collective action—principles that now form a key part of Blupedia’s mission.

A Child of the Forests, Raised by the Mountains

Beyond sports and cinema, Anjay’s truest calling lies in the wild. He has spent countless days trekking across India’s most challenging landscapes—an experience that fueled his passion for biodiversity and environmental preservation.

For him, nature is not scenery; it is a living, breathing organism deserving of devotion and protection.
This connection led him to take on one of the most ambitious personal conservation efforts in India.

Protecting 400 Acres of Biodiversity—A One-Man Mission

In the district of Sindhudurg, Maharashtra, lies a 400-acre land area rich in biodiversity—deep forest, medicinal plants, rare species, and a micro-ecosystem that is among the most diverse in the region.

While most 21-year-olds are beginning their adult lives, Anjay undertook the responsibility of protecting an entire forest ecosystem by himself.

His achievements include:

  • Preventing encroachment and illegal logging

  • Monitoring wildlife movement

  • Maintaining water bodies and natural corridors

  • Ensuring the preservation of indigenous floral species

  • Documenting and studying biodiversity independently

  • Guarding the land physically and financially without external support

For Anjay, this was never a vanity project; it was an act of deep spiritual responsibility toward the land that shaped him.
Saving this forest, protecting its animals, and ensuring its survival remains one of his greatest personal achievements—a legacy built quietly, without public applause.

From Lone Protector to Community Leader

Despite his success, Anjay has begun to recognize a fundamental truth:
“No ecological mission should be carried alone.”

The planet cannot be saved by isolated heroes—it requires communities, shared responsibility, and collective action. This realization planted the seeds of Blupedia, the platform he co-founded alongside Mittal Maurya.

Blupedia is not just an app; it is a movement. A place where creators, conservationists, travelers, influencers, youths, corporates, and environmentalists come together to take action for the planet.

Through Blupedia, Anjay wants to:

  • Bring global citizens into conservation efforts

  • Digitize and share eco-achievements authentically
